My passion for the photography is very old, I took photos with my father's old camera, a Voigtlander Vito II, always I have this old camera and is still working.
Once upon a go..... before taking a picture you thought not 10.. But 100 times... The result would be seen after a few days or even after weeks... Hand calculated exposure... machine obviously all manual..
But it was a real school... exposure, framing, lights... everything had to be valued perfectly.
After a short adventure with the old camera of my grandfather (an Agfa with bellows, medium format) finally when I was 14 years old (thanks to school merits) I received for gift the first Reflex.. A Minolta XG-1 with 50mm F2 lens... it was like moving from one horse cart to a sports car.... I still remember that emotions at the first shots!!!
Thanks to my father work trips in the Far east, and a lot of small jobs , my photographic kit has expanded.. in 1st a focal duplicator with macro... then the Minolta Rokkor 135mm f 2.8.. Very Beautiful optics.. which I still keep... then the 20mm superwide... and also I bought a second camera body, one Minolta X-300.. I Sold the XG-1 and I bought the top (at the time) in the Minolta cameras, the X-700.
For the photographic hunting & Wildlife I bought also a nice 500mm Minolta catadioptric. In effect, at the end, I've a complete kit, with filters, 3 Flash (one TTL), Rewinder, ect ect.
This Minolta camera kit has been my loyal companion in many travels and in a thousand photographic experiences.
In 1995 I took the first Canon autofocus.. (50E). Equipped with zoom and with eye control for the depth of field.. It looked like science fiction!
In 2000 I began to take digital photography , with a compact camera 3 Mpixel (Canon A70) and then move in 2004 to the first digital SLR, always Canon. (400D)
Since the optical kit has grown and improved, in many cases with the lenses of L-series. (EF 70-200 in first f4 and after f2,8, 24-70... 16-35--)
I took landscapes photo with a Canon 5DS R , and Canon 7D MK II for the Wildlife; my lenses starting from a wide angle to super tele until the end of 2019. At the end of 2019 I've changed all with a Mirrorless system; a Sony A7R IV (61 Mpix) with G lenses
Thanks for your attention.
